Main chimney and by-pass chimney made for a gas turbine with a downstream waste heat boiler. The by-pass chimney stands on a steel construction and can be operated through a 3-way valve in case of a maintenance of the boiler. Due to the high acoustic requirements, acoustic backdrops have been installed in the by-pass, which can handle the temperature of 556ºC without any problems.
The main chimney is placed after the boiler and equipped with a 360º mouth-platform with 2m walking width according to the Belgian standards.
